I never used to like honey. I found the taste a bit overpowering and it was also very sweet for me. As someone with Type 2 diabetes, I have to be careful about the amount of sugar I take.
However, when I first tried MD Honey, I found that I like the taste and it was not too sweet either.
I have digestive issues and found that taking some MD Honey in the morning either with my cup of tea or even a teaspoon on its own has helped me with my IBS and GERD. And it has not had much effect on my blood sugar levels either.
Now, I look forward to having my teaspoon of honey after breakfast. I swirl it in my mouth and savour the wonderful flavour, that when it is all gone I feel I want to have more. I have to restrain myself from having more though and just be happy with the thought that I will have more of the delicious MD Honey the next day.
